While it wasn’t as nearly as dramatic as yesterday’s thrilling comeback, the Chicago Cubs erased an early deficit & won their 6th straight game by beating the Colorado Rockies 5-4 on Saturday afternoon from Wrigley Field.

Even with Aramis Ramirez & Ryan Theriot on the bench, the Chicago Cubs still found a way to erase a 9-1 deficit & rallied for an incredible 10-9 win over the Colorado Rockies on Friday afternoon from Wrigley Field. Read more… »

Should we call them the Comeback Cubbies?
It may ponder some serious thought after Chicago’s latest comeback 8-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Thursday evening from Wrigley Field. The Cubs’ offense broke the game open late with 5 runs in the last 2 innings to put away the defending NL Champs.

On March 24th of this year, A.J. Clay decided to start a petition that would allow himself and his fellow Cub fans to express what they thought about a possible name change of Wrigley Field. His goal was to attract enough Cub fans’ interest to get 100,000 signatures of fans that wanted to fight those who were trying to change the name of our beloved ballpark.

What a difference 4 days makes for Cubs left fielder Alfonso Soriano.
On Sunday, Soriano dropped a potential game-ending catch in left field that allowed the Pirates to tie & eventually win the game 6-5 in 11 innings.
On Wednesday evening, Fonzi was the hero as his 10th inning single drove home Mike Fontenot & gave the Chicago Cubs a come-from-behind 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
